Children with special and/or individualized needs are not left behind at St. Michael the Archangel!
St. Michael the Archangel knows that not all children are alike, have the same needs, or learn the same way. That’s why we offer several options for our children with learning differences. Parents can register their children for At-Home instruction, Sunday CCE with trained special education catechists, or register their children for one-on-one or small group individualized instruction.
If you, or someone you know, would benefit from special and/or individualized instruction, please contact Lana Jezierski at ljezierski@stmichaelchurch.net for more information and to arrange a meeting. You can also call the Children Faith Formation office at 713-403-4122 to make an appointment for you and your child to meet with the parish Coordinator of Children's Faith Formation.
Classes begin in September and conclude in April. Faith Formation follows the Sunday 9:00 a.m. Mass and adheres to an academic schedule.
The series used for individualized instruction is Adaptive Finding God, from Loyola Press. Please click on: www.FindingGod.com/adaptive for more information about our Adaptive learning text.
