Solemnity of All Saints: Monday, November 1, 2021 | Mass at 8:15 am, 12:10 pm, & 7:00 pm
Every year the Church recalls the example, witness, and prayer of the holy women and men who have been identified by the Church as Saints. The celebration of this ancient feast is a treasured tradition of the Church, and usually we are obligated to attend Mass.
This day is most assuredly held in high esteem as a day of remembering the holy men and women with whom the church proclaims to have attained eternal glory. -Loyola Press
Commemoration of The Faithful Departed – All Souls: Tuesday, November 2, 2021 | Mass at 8:15 am & 7:00 pm
On the day of All Souls, we pray for the souls of all the faithful departed. We believe that we continue to share a relationship with those who have died and when we pray for the souls of the faithful departed, we are praying for those whose souls are journeying through purification and being prepared for eternal life in heaven.
You are invited to place the names of your deceased family members and friends in our Book of Remembrance of the Dead which will be placed in the church throughout the month of November. Every member of the church is encouraged to pray for the dead and to console their brothers and sisters who mourn the loss of their loved ones.
“May they enjoy eternal light and peace and be raised up in glory with all your saints.” -Roman Missal, Masses for the Dead
